Our Services
This is the standard survey used to identify any Asbestos-containing materials that may be present within a property. Materials suspected of containing Asbestos are safely sampled and analysed by a UKAS accredited Laboratory using Polarised Light Microscopy.
As part of the survey, the condition of each identified material is assessed and recommendations are made regarding its ongoing management. This type of survey is not fully intrusive and can normally be undertaken while buildings are occupied.
Your Asbestos Consultant undertake surveys in a flexible way to minimise any disruption to the normal activities taking place within a property ensuring the smooth delivery of all inspections.
Reports are issued within 10 working days of survey completion or before depending on your requirements. Our survey reports are extremely comprehensive and will provide you with all the information you will need to manage the Asbestos materials identified. We also provide in-depth guidance following delivery of the report to ensure any recommendations made are fully understood.
Refurbishment & Demolition Surveys are designed to identify, as far as is reasonably practicable, all ACMs within a building or part of a building, in advance of any work which is likely to disturb it i.e. refurbishment or full demolition. This type of inspection will involve destructive methods to expose any hidden voids and difficult to reach areas. It is intended that any Asbestos materials identified can then be safely removed prior to the Refurbishment / Demolition work taking place. Due to the destructive nature of the survey, it is recommended that areas affected are unoccupied at the time of inspection. This type of survey can be combined with any of the above inspections depending on your specific needs.
